One Box to Rule Them All ;]

Ok, so i had such problem than Snow Leopard Dock and Finder crashes at boot time (login time). Mac boots, logging in, and that's it - basically you cant do nothing else because Finder don't work, sometimes Dock not working also and sometimes even that bar on top not working (however its called).

After many hours of trying to fix that solution for me was:

If at least Spotlight is working (upper right corner)
Launch terminal, go to home ~ (aka home directory) and check if there is no shortcuts (alias, links) to not mounted disks (for example USB sticks, virtual disks, dmg). If you found such links - delete them. I guess you will have to do same with ~/Desktop/ ~/Downloads/ ~/Documents/ (for me it was only ~). After do "sudo reboot".

If even Spotlight not working
Reboot Mac (holding power button) and hold Cmd+s while it will start booting. You should boot in single user mode. Then you have to mount disk / (don't remember exactly how but you will find instructions on screen "mount /aaa/bbb /". Tipe "bash", "cd /User/<your user>/" and do same deleting actions as described above. After "reboot"

I don't know if you having same problem as i did, but i guess its worth trying :)

woot, apple just approved my first game BallWhirl
It's a pretty simple color matching game.

Lite version not approved yet :(

Yesterday i changed my old one iPhone 2G (first generation) to iPhone 3GS (latest one).

WOOT, after a lot of troubles and delays 2009-06-28 i submitted my game to Apple appstore. I was able to do it cos Tomas (arigato gozaimasu) helped to finish graphic.

Have to say that i think, game is not 100% done, but everything took so long that i dint had more patience :)

So now i can only wait till Apple approve or reject for fixes :)

So,
in times of "crisis" i decided to change work place (left on my own will). „EVP International“, UAB => UAB „Vertex“.

Last week i bought new mouse (actually my girl friend bought me it for X'mas cos i told i want it) - "Microsoft Explorer Mouse" with "BlueTrack" technology.

And what i can say about it?
It's TOTAL CRAP and it's TOTAL BULLSHIT about "Say Goodbye to Laser". It works as worse as any 5$ mouse. If you put it on not flat surface cursors shivers or moves up on desktop, even if you put it on white page of paper (i did it on A4) you can observe same movement up (not always). Come on! It's 100$ mouse. I'm so disappointed that i spend so much money on this crap mouse that i would really appreciate if Microsoft would give back my money or they would give me mouse what works good.

And believe me - i know how mouse should work.
Previously i had Logitech G7

And it really works good on any surface i was using it on. The only downside was you have to change batteries every evening, but with fast-swap it wasn't a big problem.

Today I wanted to go home (from Vilnius to Panevėžys). But shit happens and my Toyota yaris started to sound strange, shake and show all other signs of dissatisfaction for going from our capital to some small city only after few kilometers.
So - because about cars I know only that you can kick tires, I stopped on side way, took out emergency sign, turned on emergency lights and as all people started to call to a friends.
Called to a good friend Andriui who without any hesitation agreed to come and help me.
Well anyway, I wanted to write not about that. I wanted to write that I was waiting for Andriaus about ~45min (its not a problem), but in that time no one stopped to ask me if I need help even if I had emergency sign and lights in the middle of highway with allot of cars.
Why? But really, why? It would take only a minute because I would say that help is already on the way and I don’t need any. Why you, drivers of Lithuania, don't love me? I was really amazed...

Anyway - Domo Arigato mister Andrius, I knew you wont refuse to help ;)
